Collector Score
Compare Watches Across Design, Utility, Craft and Value
How the Collector Score Works
Each Collector Score is built around four equally weighted categories: Design, Utility, Craft and Value. Together, they give a balanced view of how a watch looks, works, is made and sits in the market.
Design
Looks at the visual identity of the watch, including its proportions, dial, case, controls, finishing, colours and connection to its design lineage.
Utility
Focuses on practical ownership and everyday use, including the movement, durability, water resistance, readability, wearability, controls and useful features.
Craft
Considers the quality and horological interest behind the watch, from movement architecture and finishing to materials, servicing, certification and heritage.
Value
Looks at where the watch sits in the market, including price, scarcity, competition, ownership costs and overall price-to-performance.
